The third Dim Sum for Diabetes occurred Nov. 4 at Empire Garden, with a pressed house at lunchtime. November is Diabetes Awareness Month.
All returns from the occasion went to the Joslin Diabetes Center's Asian American Diabetes Initiative. Wong made an individual gift of $10,000 for diabetes look into too.

City of Boston neighborhood organizer Denny Ching and Office of Neighborhood Services head of staff Daniel Manning went to the pledge drive, alongside Hung-wei Ou, Culture Center executive of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Boston.
The occasion was supported by the Asian American Civic Association, Toisan Family Association and the Wang YMCA of Chinatown.
