Broncos RB C.J. Anderson has meniscus damage, out indefinitely

Denver Broncos running back C.J. Anderson will experience surgery on Thursday to find out the degree of harm to the meniscus in his right knee, mentor Gary Kubiak said.

He is out inconclusively.

Whether Anderson has a full or incomplete tear in the meniscus will be resolved amid the arthroscopic strategy, and a repair could be made. A full tear would unquestionably end his season, and a halfway tear could mean a four-or five-week nonappearance.

In the event that the Broncos choose to put Anderson on harmed save and need to bring him back this season, he must be out for at least six weeks before he can come back to hone and must be out for at least eight weeks before he can play in a diversion.

"With the goal that we can facilitate assess what's going on and go from that point," Kubiak said of the surgery. "Ideally [Thursday night] we have some thought of what's going on and see where we're at when we wake up [Friday] ... Part of individuals included."

Anderson posted a tweet Thursday evening to thank the group and fans for their support and noticed that his status for the season won't be known until after his surgery.
