CHARLOTTE, N.C. - "It resembles time stopped," a Charlotte mother said in regards to the frightening minutes she spent protecting her 7-year-old child while three mutts assaulted him.
Elizabeth Bertrand said her child Noah had quite recently ventured off the school transport Friday when the mutts hurried for them and jumped on top of him.
Bertrand shouted as she laid on the ground to secure him while kicking and pushing at the bull terriers.

Neighbors in the Madison Park people group hurried to help the combine.
"I told my girl, 'Call 911,' and I snatched a sweeper and hit the ground shouting 'Get out, stop,'" neighbor Chong Winston said.
Noah endured wounds to his head and confront and experienced crisis plastic surgery.
"He's been, exceptionally overcome," Bertrand said.
Bertrand, who was chomped in the assault, and their whole family are recouping from the injury.
"I simply ask that individuals who have pets consider the obligation important," she said.
Creature Control Officers found the canines, which were come back to their proprietor's home.
Authorities said the proprietor conceded the canines had been free, and surrendered each of the three to Animal Care and Control.
Specialists are as yet deciding the proper charges.
