2. Go to the Franklin-Fulton County Band Festival show.

The Franklin-Fulton County Band Festival will be held Friday and Saturday, Jan. 20 and 21, at Greencastle-Antrim High School and Middle School.

At 1:30 p.m. Saturday, a show will be introduced in the G-AHS assembly room. Dr. Scott Hippensteel, executive of instrumental learns at Shepherd University, will direct the center school band and Dr. Andrew Yozviak, chief of groups at West Chester University, will lead the secondary school band. Tickets will be accessible at the entryway. Affirmation is $5 for grown-ups and $3 for understudies and seniors.

The celebration will include around 240 understudy performers from Chambersburg, Corpus Christi, Fannett-Metal, Forbes Road, Greencastle-Antrim, James Buchanan, McConnellsburg, Mercersburg Academy, Southern Fulton and Waynesboro.

3. Agree to accept 'Eating with Diabetes'

Penn State Extension is putting forth its minimal effort class on diabetes way of life in Waynesboro starting Wednesday, Jan. 25.

"Feasting with Diabetes: A Program for Adults with Diabetes and Their Families" will be held at the Otterbein Ministry Center at 912 S. Potomac St. from 1 to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesdays Jan. 25, Feb. 1, Feb. 8 and Feb. 22, with a subsequent class on April 26.

The class is intended to show individuals how to juggle the way of life elements important to oversee Type 2 diabetes and how to keep pre-diabetes from its characteristic movement to diabetes.

The program incorporates five classes. Every member will get a formula book, practice DVD and a blood test, A1C, at the first and last class to quantify late glucose levels. Every class offers sustenance shows with formula tastings, gentle physical action, lesson and discourse.
