Kedah 'champ' for diabetes, hypertension

ALOR SETAR: Kedah secured the questionable respect of being "champion" for diabetes and hypertension cases in the nation.

State Health executive Datuk Dr Norhizan Ismail said this was appeared in a review led by the Health Ministry in 2015.

Dr Norhizan said that the review found that 25.4 for each penny or one out four Kedahans matured 18 or more experienced diabetes, which was the most noteworthy rate among every one of the states in Malaysia.

"It is surprisingly more dreadful for hypertension with 40 for each penny of grown-up Kedahans experiencing the issue," Dr Norhizan told correspondents in the wake of going to the end service of the "Klinik Penyayang Percuma" program here today.

The wellbeing executive said this were way of life ailments and prompted Kedahans to lead solid ways of life.
