Tamil Nadu Governor seeks explanation from VCs for visiting Sasikala

Chennai: Taking solid protest to their meeting with Sasikala apparently to pay sympathies to late Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa, Tamil Nadu Governor CH Vidyasagar Rao, chancellor of state colleges, on Monday looked for a clarification from 10 bad habit chancellors on their visit.

In a correspondence sent to advanced education secretary A. Karthik, the Governor's office brought up that the "bad habit chancellors are relied upon to be unbiased and not to take a political stand" and requesting that he look for "comments" from the bad habit chancellors. The correspondence is additionally comprehended to have protested the VCs requesting that Mrs Sasikala assume control over the reins of the AIADMK.
