LEBANON, Ohio (AP) -
Ohio authorities say a Florida man has been sentenced to two years in jail and requested to pay $22,000 in compensation for his part in a burglary ring that stole the hair development item Rogaine and other over-the-counter medications.
The Ohio Attorney General's Office says 36-year-old Andres Arias, of Boca Raton, confessed Tuesday to a racketeering charge in Warren County in southwestern Ohio and was sentenced.
The lawyer general's announcement says Arias was a piece of a criminal system that stole Rogaine, a dietary supplement and an over-the-stabilizer misfortune sedate, from medication stores all through Ohio. The announcement says Arias traveled to focused urban communities where he stole the medications and transported them to partners in New Jersey.
Arias' lawyer says Arias is contrite and the supplication understanding is reasonable.
