Barnes-Jewish doctor earns national academy honors

Dr. George Macones, of Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University's therapeutic school, has been chosen to the National Academy of Medicine.

Macones is the head of obstetrics and gynecology at the healing center and leader of the obstetrics/gynecology office at the school's restorative school.

Macones is universally known for his exploration on the wellbeing of vaginal birth after cesarean segments and growing new rules on observing hatchlings amid work, a medicinal school official statement noted.
