Clifton gynecologist is cleared of sexual assault

A Clifton gynecologist has been cleared of a rape charge after a great jury voted not to give back an arraignment against him.

Dr. Vinay Shah, who hones out of an office on Paulison Avenue, was accused in June of second-degree rape in light of a charge by a lady who blamed him for commandingly expelling her jeans and having sex with her.

Shah, who had denied the assertion, was charged on the premise of an objection marked in Clifton Municipal Court.

The affirmed casualty, a 53-year-old lady from Wallington whose character is being withheld, had said that the claimed attack occurred at Shah's office in April 2011.
