Boston, Mass. — Hajirah Saeed, M.D., has joined Mass. Eye and Ear as a clinician-researcher in the Cornea and Refractive Surgery Service. Her clinical strengths incorporate corneal transplantation, visual blazes, keratoprosthesis, visual surface tumors and pediatric cornea.

Dr. Saeed conducts research on corneal infections. As the inaugural Gliklich Innovation Scholar at Mass. Eye and Ear, she is working under the mentorship of James Chodosh, M.D., MPH, to build up a Stevens-Johnson Syndrome (SJS)/dangerous epidermal necrolysis (TEN) registry and bio-vault to research the immunopathogenesis and hereditary qualities of the malady.
