8 American Soccer Teens Who May or May Not Have Lived Up to the Hype

Pennsylvanian adolescent Christian Pulisic has set American soccer fans' creative impulses land with his sudden entry a first class European club. At only 18 years of age, Pulisic has not just earned a place in supervisor Thomas Tuchel's group at Borussia Dortmund, he's demonstrated flashes that have individuals talking him up as the potential most prominent American player ever.

Is that buildup? Of course, yet at any rate Pulisic is giving individuals justifiable reason motivation to get energized at the top level. The historical backdrop of American soccer is inundated with exceptionally touted adolescents who either never met their assumed potential or who took a couple of years before they satisfied it.
