Franciscan Health: New President Chosen for Three Hospitals

Franciscan Alliance has named Patrick Maloney, President and Chief Executive Officer of its Franciscan Health doctor's facilities in Dyer, Hammond and Munster.

A prepared chairman, Maloney will convey his patient-focused way to deal with the three doctor's facilities, which have been giving mission-based human services to over a century to occupants on both sides of the Indiana/Illinois state line. He starts work with Franciscan Alliance Oct. 31.

"This pleased doctor's facility framework is the foundation of social insurance in Northwest Indiana," said Maloney, who is leaving his position as CEO of Tenet Healthcare's West Suburban and Westlake clinics in Illinois to join Mishawaka-based Franciscan Alliance. "Mission-based social insurance was what I was looking for – and discovered – at Franciscan Health. This is an association that grasps similar qualities I do – regard forever, loyalty to its central goal, humane concern, upbeat administration and Christian stewardship."

Maloney, who has been doctor's facility CEO throughout the previous 20 years, has a past filled with achievement.

At Tenet, he was instrumental in accomplishing exponential development in patient fulfillment, representative engagement and wellbeing. Amid his residency, readmissions diminished while patients looking for care in obstetrics, intense restoration and bariatric surgery expanded.

Kevin Leahy, President and CEO of Franciscan Alliance, said "Patrick Maloney is the ideal mix of everything that we search for in a visionary pioneer. He has a demonstrated capacity to actualize an activity while never dismissing what is genuinely imperative – the wellbeing and welfare of the patients that we are special to serve."

Maloney will assume control initiative from Dr. Mathew Teolis, Vice President of Medical Affairs, who has served as between time CEO since May. Dr. Teolis will continue his full-time obligations as Vice President of Medical Affairs after Mr. Maloney lands toward the finish of this current month.

Leahy adulated Dr. Teolis for his administration in managing three of Franciscan's Northwest Indiana doctor's facilities for as far back as four months. "Dr. Teolis has made a magnificent showing with regards to in coordinating every one of the three healing facilities' authoritative exercises while, in the meantime, proceeding with his duties as the Vice President of Medical Affairs. We are thankful to Dr. Teolis for all that he has done, and keeps on doing, to bolster our Franciscan social insurance service."
