Pakistani student presents poster in global meeting on diabetes in Germany

KARACHI: An understudy of Dr. Panjwani Center for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research (PCMD), University of Karachi (UoK) exhibited a publication in the 52nd Annual Meeting of European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) held in Munich, Germany.

The representative of the International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS), University of Karachi said the EASD yearly meeting is the biggest worldwide yearly gathering on diabetes research where Abdul Hameed exhibited his blurb entitled "Coixol from Scoparia dulcis Linn empowers insulin discharge through PKA and MEK kinase ER K½ flagging pathway."

The theoretical of Abdul Hameed was distributed in "Diabetologia" the official Journal of EASD that has Impact Factor 6.206. Abdul Hameed was granted a Travel Grant to go to this meeting. He is an individual from EASD since 2014. He is working at PCMD with Research Group of Dr. M. Hafizur Rahman.

It is related to specify here that Abdul Hameed was the main member from Pakistan speaking to ICCBS in this very prestigious meeting held from September 12 to16. He likewise got thankfulness from prominent researchers in the meeting.
