Crystal Palace striker Connor Wickham to undergo knee surgery

Precious stone Palace have reported that Connor Wickham will experience surgery on an ACL damage maintained in the Premier League apparatus against Swansea City.

On Saturday night, Palace manager Alan Pardew had conceded that the striker's damage looked "genuine" and after the player experienced a MRI check, it has now been affirmed that he confronts a protracted cutback.

A club articulation read: "Connor Wickham's damage supported at the match against Swansea City on Saturday has seen him experience a MRI sweep and it is affirmed he got an Anterior Cruciate Ligament harm to his correct knee.

"He will now experience surgery and his arrival to activity will be affirmed once restoration begins taking after surgery.

"Everybody at the club wishes Connor a fast recuperation and we anticipate seeing him back in real life as quickly as time permits."

Wickham had been showing up of the season in the 5-4 annihilation to Swansea at the Liberty Stadium.
