Greensburg woman arrested on meth charges

GREENSBURG — A Greensburg lady was captured on Friday night at her place of work in Greensburg on numerous warrants. Upon landing in the Decatur County Jail, Amy Hicks, 49, twas observed to be purportedly holding substances steady with methamphetamine.

Hicks was sought and observed to hold three plastic baggies in her left sock containing a white crystalline substance, as indicated by police reports.

Taking after this, officers came back to her place of work to do a pursuit of Hicks' own things and to recoup them. Contained in Hicks' coat was thwart containing a crystalline substance and a green ink pen tube with powder deposit, as indicated by reports.

With a past filled with methamphetamine captures, Hicks' was put apprehended with the accuses of trafficking of a prisoner, a level 5 lawful offense, and ownership of methamphetamine, a level 6 crime.

Hicks showed up in court through video connect from the Decatur County Jail on Tuesday and the court entered a preparatory request of not liable.

A court date was set for Jan. 23, 2017 at 9 a.m., matching with an earlier court date for other methamphetamine charges originating from a September 2016 capture.

Hicks posted a $755 bond from that capture.

On Tuesday a $5,000 money security was set. Hicks stayed at the correctional facility as of press time Tuesday.
