2016-17 BASKETBALL PREVIEW: JOPLIN GIRLS

The 2015-16 season was an intense one for the Joplin Lady Eagles.

The damage bug hit Joplin hard ahead of schedule in the season, as a trio of starters were lost for the season.

The group went 2-23 and was skiped from the locale competition by Willard in the first round, yet a few close amusements could have gone in any case, as indicated by head mentor Jeff Williams.

"We lost three starters right on time because of season-en," Williams said. "We won only two ball games, however had an opportunity to win five or six more. The uplifting news is we just lost one senior who played sparingly."

Beaver drove the group in both scoring (9.1 ppg) and bouncing back (6.2 rpg). Williams feels the 5'9" senior will be a constrain within.
