Letter: Trump a poor example for nation's children

Donald Trump alarms me the way he unnerves numerous others: I'm panicked of an exchange war, of the effects of xenophobia and nonintervention, of brutality. I'm stressed over environmental change and my rights as a lady. Be that as it may, for the most part, I'm worried as a mother.

How would I educate my youngsters as my mom showed me? How would I show them their words may cause issues down the road for them when a presidential competitor disparages without plan of action? How would I show them that their words have effect and they ought to talk precisely when the Republican chosen one calls ladies "fat pigs" and ridicules the handicapped? How would I educate my youngsters regard when we permit Trump to act in a way that would get a 5-year-old sent to her room?

How would I educate my girl to look into before composing a paper when a presidential applicant puts forth accurately mistaken expressions routinely? How would I show her civics when he calls for illegal activities? How would I show her history when the Republican candidate is sure he can revise it by putting forth clearing expressions negated by photographic, sound and video prove?

I have considered these inquiries, and my exclusive answer is that I don't have a clue. I don't know how to explore an administration, or a world, unmoored in realities. What's more, I surely don't know how to educate my youngsters not to spook, to regard others, and to be attentive in their talked and composed word, when Trump has exhibited that those lessons do not make any difference anymore.

I'm frightened for my kids.
