Roasted Broccoli

Prepared, Set, Cook! is Health Alliance Plan's mark crusade to address youth corpulence in Michigan, considering that just about 20 percent of Michigan young people are viewed as overweight by the CDC.

Here is a sound and fun formula for broccoli:

Broiled Broccoli with Crunchy Parmesan Crumbs

Fixings:

2 lbs of Broccoli Crowns, Trimmed into level lances

1 Cup Whole Wheat Breadcrumbs

¼ Cup Parmesan Cheese, Grated

2 Tablespoons Olive Oil

2 Tablespoons Dijon Mustard

Bearings:

Preheat stove to 425 degrees F. Trim broccoli crowns into long level lances, making a level surface range on the broccoli. Mastermind broccoli onto preparing sheets, trying not to group skillet. Cook for around 10-15 minutes, or until broccoli starts to chestnut.

Meanwhile, warm a medium sauté dish over medium warmth, add olive oil to the container, and once warmed include bread pieces. Toast bread pieces in search for gold 5 minutes until brilliant, mixing habitually. Pour toasted breadcrumbs onto a plate, and mix in parmesan.

Expel broccoli from broiler, dunk every lance in the Dijon to delicately coat, and afterward press immovably into the bread scrap blend.
