Until her little girl gets surgery, Jenn Bustin spends her evenings attempting to comfort the three-year-old young lady.
"She awakens shouting and I can't do anything to comfort her," Bustin, who lives in Spiritwood, Sask., told CBC Radio's Afternoon Edition.

One of the tubes set in the young lady's ears around two years back continues getting tainted, Bustin clarified. Presently it's hindered by blood clumps.
The draining started in April.
While specialists have attempted to expel the tube from the young lady's ear, Bustin said it's been resolved that the methodology isn't possible while Summers is wakeful.
"So she should be put to rest, have the tube expelled, the blood coagulation suctioned out, and afterward new tubes set."
Bustin said despite the fact that her little girl has been languishing over months, some way or another Summers wasn't really put on a rundown for surgery until September.
The NDP raised the young lady's being referred to period on Wednesday, saying Summers has been enduring awfully long.
Wellbeing Minister Jim Reiter said his office has reached the family, and guided them to an online database that people groups discover which pro has the most limited hold up time.
Meanwhile, Bustin said she trusts her little girl's surgery happens before lasting harm is done to her ears and her listening ability.
